Yep, I'm particular about a lot of things and that's one of them. Always been that way too. I remember when I was 12 or 13, I saved up my money to get a Pioneer stereo system....like five tiers of technology, bars and knobs, you name it. I put it all together right by myself. Did that same thing again when I was around 18. After that, things were more streamlined and I was introduced to Bose. Had to have it in my car as well. Oh, and yes, it's a sexist stereotype, but I don't care. Haha, no, I'm not the girly type EXCEPT for the stuff that's not seen, where I'm pretty girly, but I don't admit it. Ohhhh, ha, I've since sold the Christmas part of that China. A friend of mine was getting married and she knew I had it and didn't use it, so asked if she could buy it. Heck yeah! I still have all the unused Waterford crystal and silverware and that whole other 12 pc. place setting of china. As you might have guessed, I don't get the Spinal Tap reference. ~ I can provide the steak, but kidney pie? Hmmmm, I can figure out how to make it. Let's see.....I would really like to trade out the living room carpet for hardwoods, and the back decking has cracks in it. I would also like new kitchen cabinets and a revised garage with new shelving. That's just for starters. How 'bout it?

Hey there! Well it's been a real busy Christmas with the family. There is a lot that needed fixed here so I helped dad work on bathroom and dryer. But in between that we had a great Christmas and soon new year. How was yours?

I got lotions, body washes, spritzes and sprays...I smell great! All good, I've got my mother in law talking in one ear anyway, so I'm slow at replying.

Lol…I’d actually like to be a fly on the wall when you’re taking your sleep aid at night. Watching you guzzle a class of wine and inhale some turkey might be fun to watch. I don’t know Dragonfly, but I do like “In Chains”, and there’s another that I like, “Dangerous”. I’d probably like all of them if I heard them. ~ I think it would be scarier to hang it over the fireplace. I’d be worried it would fall. On the other hand, someone can bump into it if it’s free standing, but something that large wouldn’t fit into an entertainment system. Actually the entertainment system was all ‘me’. I’ve always liked my stereo systems and been very particular about them, so I like to put them in a place that displays them well. I’m the reason we got a Bose in the first place. Right after we got married, I received SO MUCH china, that I went and traded in 12 place settings for a Bose system. I still had 12 left, as well as the matching Christmas china, so no big deal. ~ Nope, my husband isn’t Tim Allen at all. I have a “to do” list a mile long that I’d like done. I’ll pay you in wine and turkey if you come start them for me.

Lol, yes, I realize you're 36, so I guess you do remember a time with no cell phones. Maybe I'm just jealous because you didn't have to go as long without them as me. ~ Ahhh, I like big t.v.'s well enough, but our entertainment system has a spot for a television, and it's not big enough for a tv that size. Is yours mounted or free standing? I've always thought about doing away with that big 'ol honkin' wooden entertainment system and mounting the tv over the fireplace, but I don't think one that large would work. A smaller one would though. Lol.....I must not watch enough Hollywood made movies 'cause I don't think of Ireland as poor....maybe during the potato famine, but we've had our fair share of down times as well. So did you sleep off the turkey and alcohol?

Damn, I was right in the middle of writing you a message and *poof* all gone! Ughhh!!! Anyway, nope, the hubby didn't get any power drills. What he'd like, is that 65" t.v. of yours, but it ain't happening anytime soon....or anytime 'not soon'. I think Alexa is a lot like our cell phones. I have NO IDEA how I got along without one for so long. You won't really remember those days so much, but I do. The best I had, was one in my car. Admittedly, I don't know all that Alexa can do, but I know it's a lot. We also don't use her to her potential. Maybe you can help me with that as you figure stuff out. That might be my best bet. I hear that you can even set her to have four contacts to where if something happens to you and you need help, you can tell her to call your contacts. She'll text and call them all at the same time saying something has happened to Mark and to get help. Yep, I have two mil's. and they're both pretty good. I certainly can't complain. Hope you sleep your turkey and alcohol off. Hey! That may be your new sleep aid. "Excuse me mates, I have to go home and down a bottle of rum and a whole turkey." G'night.

Ahhh yes, we have Alexa too. She comes in handy for sure! And the kids have the Dots in their rooms. We use her for all kinds of stuff, but the music is probably what it's mostly used for, because she play whole playlists...or if you say, "play ABBA for me", she'll just play and play and play until you stop her.....or 80's pop, Heavy Metal, etc... ~65" is HUGE! It's like you're in your own movie theater. I believe we have a sound bar also, but it came with a Bose surround sound system that we got a couple of years ago. We've always had the stereo system, but upgraded to the whole kit and kaboodle a couple years ago. I don't watch very many movies, but the rest of the family does. ~Yes, I got a motiv fitness and sleep tracker (a ring) like a fitbit that one can wear, but it's not so bulky. And then a lot of girly lotions, oils, spritzes...stuff you wouldn't care about, but I like it. Those are my faves! ~ I don't mind my mil staying here, but my time isn't all mine. For instance, while trying to sit here throughout the night, I often stop and talk to her. She's usually doing her own thing as well...on her computer, like she is now, but of course we have to talk as well. I don't normally get this time anyway, so I'm fine with it. ~ SO, I guess you can stay in and watch your movies and have Alexa tell you jokes, and you'll be quite entertained.
