I KNOW! ~ Of course it’s nothing compared to those having to endure this terrible winter storm the mid-west is experiencing, especially Texas. I hope your family is faring well….and I WOULD take all of them in, so send ‘em my way! Your bubble and snow experiments inspired me to try out an egg experiment with my family. I did it with my class a few years ago. You can try it and tell me how you do. Take an egg (straight from the carton), put it in the center of the palm of your hand on its side, close your fingers around it and squeeze. See if you can crack it, bust it, anything. WAY harder than one might think. I can’t do it, and neither can most I know. My oldest son did, but he’s freakishly strong. : /

hello, nath! how's our popsnow crackin'? don't let our storm Auring flooding some areas here pop ur bubbles of wishful thinking letting loose and embracing life in a raindance. it must feel liberating, a symbolic catharsis for purgation...and if only all the rains in the world could wash away the virus and all its memories ....

I forgot to say I am glad you enjoyed the video I have up by Liily. I was wondering if you would recognize the drummer, but I guess you didn't. He does look a bit different these days. Just so you know, it is Maxx Morando, the original drummer for The Regrettes. If you remember, the bass player Sage Chavis left first, and then Maxx shortly thereafter. Let's just say they have never been quite the same since, although I still love them. Funny how the music world works.

Would you believe me if I told you it felt like it got down to -20 here? Or would it be more believable if I told you it felt like (to me) it got down to -20 here? Well, it did. Even here in the house. I had to pull out the big fuzzy socks a few days ago. “We all” can’t move in with me, but “you” are welcome to come on down! I think you’d last about three hours….nothing to do with the weather, you’d just probably want to get away from me. 😊 ~ On another note…I’m here for you, but you know that. XOX

I don't know what it is these days with so many crossover artists, but it is impressive how many truly talented young actors/actresses can actually sing as well. I think Brittney Spears and Christina Aguilera were from The Mickey Mouse Club. I'm not saying Brittney is a talented singer, but she sure has had success. Christina on the other hand is an incredible vocalist and performer. I am also seeing more and more of it elsewhere, not only from Disney. Lots of them really aren't that talented, but the studio does wonders with auto-tune, etc. Seeing the artists perform live (no lip syncing) is the true test.

I completely agree that music can do amazing things for people, mentally and physically. I have only known one person throughout my entire life that did not like music. Some people are not moved by it, and just enjoy a good song or jingle. I think musicians, or people with musical backgrounds tend to feel more of the message in songs, but maybe I am wrong. I too have been leaning on music lately. I have been on YT using my Amazon Fire Stick in the evenings, so I can watch vids on the TV. Lately, I have been watching all sorts of stuff, and it's great because I am coming across lots of new material, and revisiting songs I had long since forgotten about. I guess YT is still good for something, lol!
