I had to look up those two you mentioned Mike. Fascinating. Yes indeed, the mother died of radiation poisoning. Speaking of all things UFO related, are you watching the latest season of The X Files by any chance? It's not as good as it used to be, but I'm giving it a chance anyway, a bit like "STD".

O.k. read the comment I made, it doesn't mean because you're attracted to her that she has great taste, you're giving yourself a compliment somehow, I don't see what I've actually said to get you so mad at me, I mean I'm not jealous or anything that you correspond with her and I'm sure she wouldn't like this kind of talk, she has her own opinions as she has let me know on numerous occasions but I think that's enough now. Anyway, nice that she has such a loyal friend as you.

Michael, It seems I've upset you more than I ever intended to do, I'll have to read my comment again to see what it was that got you so upset. No insult was intended to you or to Genny. yes, I do see why you like her, maybe attracted is too strong a word. Yes, I like her too but I'm not really attracted to her. She's a pretty tough cookie and it would take a lot to get her mad ---well that's just my opinion. This is not a massive climb down on my part and I think you've written much more on the subject than I did as I said I'd have to read my comment again. Since Genny re-emerged she has taken on a lot more friends it seems, at one time she only had a few but of course that's her choice and I would never say she shouldn't have more friends as she wouldn't say that to me either, but I'm not her ma'ma or her pa'pa , she has her own agenda and ways of seeing things. Anyway I'll get back to you.

Michael, in response to your message, the answer is well ---- no it doesn't show you have great taste. Mostly being attracted to someone is a matter of choice and nothing better to do, I mean I flirt a bit with Genny but I wouldn't say I'm attracted to her, intrigued maybe because trying to look behind the enigma is interesting. It's kinda like choosing between a hamburger with salad on the side or which school ma'am you're going to give an apple to. Anyway good luck with your attraction.

Oh, i left out Valentines Day. After the "big 4" holidays then Valentines Day, then St. Patricks Day fall in as #5 and #6. Most ppl observe them and everyone is aware of them, although establishments are not closed. After all, one is an excuse to get drunk on green beer and the other is an opportunity to stuff oneself with chocolate candy and have sex all evening. :) There's nothing interesting or appealing about 'presidents day', at least that i know of.

Well you're close - Its called "Memorial Day" and is May 31. Its another 'pseudo' holiday to a degree, but not as moot as 'presidents' day', which no one observes. I don't see why there is a 'Memorial Day' and then a 'Veterans' Day' (Nov. 11). They're both for the military and holidays for bankers and some schools - that's it. Seems like they could do away with the one on Nov. and recognize Halloween as the true holiday that it has become here. Almost everyone does something festive, there's so many parties then ppl call into work sick the next day. Actually most of us only celebrate 4 holidays: New Years, Fourth of July, Halloween, and either Christmas or Rosh Hashanna. Even St. Patrick's day is more festive than the three aforementioned duds. Myself being metaphysical, i recognize the astrological New Year (March 21) and the Winter Solstice is important to me for meditation. Honestly i don't think many Americans know about or celebrate 'presidents' day. Seems like you Europeans know more about thjat day, haha. I'm embarrassed to say i do not know the English holidays. How many do y'all have and what are they called ? xoxo

You better study up on that Greek history for the next 2 days dude, you never know when i might throw a pop quiz your way. (not that i know anything about Greek history, haha) Yes i did quit my job. Its not a big issue like it would be for most ppl but thanks for asking ! In my line of work - paralegal - jobs are a dime a dozen. You can walk out of one and into a new one the same day if you have a license. But its very rare to get any benefits like paid holidays or sick days. In fact i could work on my own from my home if i wanna, but its more speculative and requires more discipline when there's no time clock. Actually i am not fully recovered from my flu/bad cold but i did go back to the job for 2 days. The boss was getting increasingly negative and counter productive to everyone with his business being slow lately, so i forfeited the annoyance and walked out. I have other stuff to do anyway such as maybe selling some stuff on Amazon and catching up on chores, so i'll probably go out and look for a new job toward the end of the week. :)

Indeed, I have heard of the Lonnie Zamorra case, very compelling. As is the one in Dayton, Texas. Known as the "Cash-Landrum" Incident. Worth looking up. The "Shag Harbour" incident in Canada is another good one. The one you mentioned at the end of your comment reminds me of the "Rendlesham Forrest" incident, as the witnesses in that one got right up to the craft and touched it.
