Again, I'm just trying to get back to where I was playing wise. Did I get some nookie back in the day cuz of the "licks"? Probably. Mostly after hall parties or battle of the bands kinda gigs where for that night one was the "star" lol. Twas a fun time. :) Better not kiss n tell though haha...

Back again for another listen! I gotta say, that laptop of yours does a pretty good job, considering how small the mic must be! Awesome effects pedal as well. I don't have anything like that, just a few pedals that have only one purpose, like one for distortion, one delay, one for chorus, and of course the phaser effect I love so much. You made the perfect decision with that guitar, and you should be extremely satisfied. Reminds me of when I had my Ibanez with the floating tremelo. Been using a fixed bridge ever since. Once again, thanks for the upload!

Excellent tone man! Is that the onboard amp distortion or a pedal? I'm impressed for sure. Perfect for that metal sound! You can definitely shred, holy crap! Loved (and recognized) just about every riff, but cannot name where they came from. Sounds a lot like Ozzy, and the ending is very similar to Eruption. You rocked those hammer on's & pull-off's! I was never really good at that stuff. You did a great job, especially if this is the first time you attempted this. Not sure what is up with the severe latency issue on the video. What did you record with? That crap drives me nuts! People always accused me of "not really playing" when that happens. Ugh. Anyway, made my night seeing this, thanks so much! I hope you will do more soon. Man, the tone...just like old Randy sound. "Wine is fine, but whiskey's quicker..." :-)

Wow, thx so much Rob! Mucho appreciated coming from such a great axeman as yourself... I knew these ol riffs but u can tell I'm struggling to rmbr as I go lol. And good ear, indeed I was using an outboard unit. I had the Boss amp totally clean but was running thru a Digitech Genesis 3. The songs I was butchering were, Wasted from the first Def Leppard album, Crazy Train from Randy n Ozzy and Rock Bottom from Michael Schenker and UFO as well as yes, a little passage from Eddie's Eruption. Ya know, I don't even own a cell phone or camera and had been tellin' myself that I'd better at least get ya a sample of me rambling so... I just took this Toshiba laptop and recorded with it. It has a cam and mic built in... thx so much buddy! :) Lemme see if I can attach a pic of the G3...

Ah there you are. Jesus man you kick ass...or erm "arse" even, as we say over here. Have your licks gotten you attention from the fairer sex over the years? I'm betting they probably have. I like your "American Made" t-shirt btw. It would probably make more sense wrapped around the chest of Pamela Anderson, and prompt me to salute with a lip quiver and a tear in my eye if it were, but it looks good on you too buddy! Cheers for your PM and the share. I see another one of you under suggested videos at the end, so I'm gonna check that one out now too. \m/
