Hi Alex, no I wasn't swallowed whole by St. Patrick's Day lol I haven't been on here in quite awhile because I have made numerous attempts to sign in over the past week, but the site is so painfully slow that it makes the whole endeavour pointless. It takes 30 minutes or more just to reply to a handful of comments. So how are you? Do you guys still have curfew over there? I'm eagerly anticipating the reopening of the barber shops. My hair is getting long, and it's annoying me. What's more, my favourite coffee shop has changed it's supplier, and the coffee they use now is nowhere near as good as it once was. So unfair! I hope that you and your family are well.

How are you doing otherwise? I hope you and your family have not been at all affected by this virus, in any way. It has caused so many problems for so many, besides actually getting sick from it. We are now paying a devastating price here on so many levels. It's a long road, but we must keep pushing. Now, if you know this band I will have to call you my new best friend, lol! They are another one that immediately caught my attention the minute I heard this song, and I have been a fan ever since. A lot of their earlier stuff is a bit "out there" but this album is solid. I could, (and have been) listening to this song for years now, and it never gets old. I think you will like it as well. Hey again! So, I just read your comment on my latest, and once again I am shocked that you even know who The Regrettes are! They have a small-ish fan base around here that I know from the shows, but other than that they get almost no exposure. However, it appears as though they did quite well on their tour overseas. I was fortunate enough to catch them a few years ago on St. Patrick's Day at a very small venue, which I actually prefer. Even better was the fact that the opening band was MT. Eddy. If you don't know them, they were a band led by Jakob Armstrong, son of Billie Joe from Green Day. I am sending you my favorite song by them, although the entire album is fantastic. I'm happy, Alex, to know that the site is working well enough for me to drop off a quick Hello. COOL, on the skate park. Tell your kids that my favorite skateboarder is either Nyjah Huston or Paul Rodriguez aka P-Rod. Although, I'd love to have access to Huston's Laguna Beach (California) home. What a sweet view! And you can tell them that the sport finally gets some street cred and by being an Olympic sport. They're still planning on holding that Tokyo Olympics minus the spectators from abroad. I don't know if that's a wise choice and worth the risk ~~~ I'd let the athletes decide en masse and have them sign some sort of waiver. You're right about the scary nature of this U.K. variant and I have seen news that people are having reservations about taking the AstaZeneca vaccine ... and I don't blame them. But getting "out and about" to enjoy an overdue haircut is something that gives you (or anyone) a small taste of normalcy again. You left a comment on a rare Breeders video I had up, and the fact that someone on one of these sites actually knew who The Deal sisters are shocked me. Only you and Seattle Mark (remember him) seem to know a lot about the scene, and I really appreciate that. I know you have a wide variety of musical taste, just like I do, but I can always count on you to appreciate the alt/indie/grunge stuff I love so much. Hey Alex, since I last commented to you, I found Noa`s email and sent her an email ( 4 days ago ) but she`s not replied as of yet. Hopefully her life is better than it was last time we emailed each other. As for the weather here :) It`s mild but cloudy. Still got 3 and a half weeks of furlough/lockdown. Have a great week.
