Okay, Blaine…..you made my heart melt with what you said about hunny bunny. Sweet words from a sweet man……so “in your face” all other men. Nicolette Larsen, you say? I’ll have to take a listen. She would probably have a nice lullaby voice. ~ Hope everything in TN is going well. It was really cool here today, after weeks of heat, so I was quite happy. How is it up there? :)

Sun tanned cinnamon buns ? Very tasty ! Yum yum. :) I saw another movie with Sean Penn on my oldies TV channel last week: "Colors". It is about him playing a rookie cop in L.A. with the gangs in Compton. He's is such a great actor, seems like he should have had more parts come his way. Probably not because he is such a wise ass, but that is part of his greatness !

Blaine, have you ever considered being a poet? Ireland has plenty, we're a loquacious bunch, never know when to shut up. For a country of it's size though, America could use more. Think of it, Poe, Whitman, Dickinson, Blaine. Sound good?

Hi Blaine! Thanks for stopping by my friend. Yes, we've been having some unstable weather here too - finally a few mildish days and then down below freezing again for a few more. The icicles have melted from the eaves and I'm just waiting for the grass to appear through the snow. That shouldn't be long now. We're never really out of the woods here until about May though. Last year we had this huge snowstorm in the middle of April! That was pretty unusual though. Oh yes, when it was a little milder the other night Stink the skunk came out of hibernation and was cranky as usual. He sprayed right near the house and the stench was coming in right through the closed windows. I wasn't sure what it was at first so opened the window and it was like a chemical explosion! I'm sure he stunk up the place the minute he rolled out of bed, grumpy little curmudgeon that he is.

Hey, was today some kind of holiday ? I must be missing something. That neighbor of mine had one of his refrigerated meat trucks all decked out in a huge American flag across the hood and flag decorated helium balloons streaming from the sides. Interesting because he is Colombian and speaks very little English. Either he became patriotic all of a sudden or he is capitalizing on some holiday i'm not aware if. Then right after it got dark there were massive fireworks to rival July 4th fired off around the the beach area for about an hour. I'll ask Genny about it, too. Oh btw, i thought you were country folk because of the feral animals you speak of and your mention of the forests, now the lakes, haha. So, do you have any house pets besides your spider infestation in the garage ? Myself, i just have the one cat, but i love all animals ! I am smack dab in an urban area but we get a lot of 'wild' animals in our yards especially because the urbanzition has ruined a lot of their natural habitats in the Everglades. On any given night there are possums in my yard, and occasional raccoons and peacocks. Iguanas, birds and squirrels everywhere, and every month or so we hear of an alligator that has taken over someone's pool.
