Spring is my favourite time of year. Today I'm gonna have to take it a bit easy. I was putting up rods in a cramped closet yesterday and somehow managed to hurt my back. Ouch!!! Thanks very much Alex, if you enjoyed them then it's all worthwhile. Michael Collins was an interesting figure for sure. If you ever get the chance, you should check out the film "Michael Collins", it's very good. Shamefully, there isn't a single statue of him anywhere in Ireland, nor are there any statues of the leaders of the 1916 Rising that are seen being executed at the beginning. I couldn't tell you why. It would seem that my government isn't keen on commemorating those who used force to achieve our sovereignty. We have lots of statutes of peaceful activists, but none for those that used force, which is ridiculous, because the U.S named their capitol after George Washington, and erected a massive monument in his honour, not to mention the fact that the French still honour Napoleon and the English honour Cromwell.

Hey Alex, good luck with the new boiler, I remember when we had ours put in, took ALL f`ing day! I don`t envy you. I noticed quite a few have left or are on both sites now. Goodness…you’re no cowboy. I don’t think you could have survived back in the “cowboy days”…omg, totally can’t think of the word for that. ~ Medium rare? I like it a little more cooked than that, and usually just the edges. I’m not picky about food, just picky about the parts of the food I eat when it’s in front of me. Hello Alex. It`s milder here too. Yes my museum job will hopefully help with my future career. I can`t wait to see the stuff that`s not on show :) Hopefully swords and helmets lol...Archery will only start up again when lockdown is over. Have a great weekend.
