This is basically another epic Sci Fi Tatics Squad/Futuristic Military Magical Girl Similar to VividRed operation and Nanoha Striker S, but this show however takes the genre into a whole new interesting Darker Level=P
I'll just say this,this show takes everything that made Nanoha Striker S Subpar Good/Average but Improves upon it and makes it twice as better with This amazing show. If you previously liked Vividred Operation but was sadly disapointed with the Way Nanoha Striker S turned out compared to the older Nanoha seasons,than your gonna love this anime.lol.
Sorry Nanoha,but this SHOW blows your mediocore lackluster 3rd season "Striker S" out of the WATER!
as for last year's Akenesu Shoujo,a good Show,but way too short and some parts felt rushed which this should have been more than 12 episodes,but oh well,hope it gets a 2nd season,but untile than,I'll be tuning into more of Mahou Shoujo Tatics Squad Spec-Ops Asuka for the 2019 Season!
and how ironic and funny,theres alot of anime characters named "Asuka" going around alot lately.XD. Akenesu Shoujo's main character was named Asuka,and now we have a main character in this new 2019 Anime named "Asuka".XD

You started watching too! Great! Yep this show is looking to be an interesting take on deconstruction of magical girls. Magical girls typically fight monsters right? Well now we deal with corruption, terrorism, and a military styled magical girl unit? This story shows off Asuka who was a former soldier who dealt with that in middle school and now 3 years later dealing with PTSD-like flashbacks. When has a magical girl show done this? Madoka sorta did but not like this. Stay tuned Chrono this is looking to be a real treat for us.
