. Would you consider my aunty a Culcheese" she was from south west Ireland and very suspicious of her surrounding English neighbours when she came to live in Britain. I think she listened too much to the priest in her Parish as the Catholic church then was dominated by the Irish Catholics, so she'd drag her kids passed the C of E school with disgust........ Mark, I didn't think "The Pale" still existed except of course in the language and I don't think most people realise what it was but when you look up the etymology it makes sense --- oh I didn't realise what the Pale was either except a few weeks ago I did see a map of Ireland showing the area around Dublin where the Pale had been si it dud make sense when I read the etymology of the phrase. So, to the rest of Ireland Dublin has a "kind" of Englishness about it. Well you told me about it. I never thought of it in that light, more that it was the centre of the Uprising in 1916. What I don't know is about the landlords who seemed to live in England as "absentee landlords" also what happened in the late 18 Century. Was it considered that the British annexed Ireland and in the early 19th.Century ? I do know that it seemed a bit of a stitched up affair where Catholics would never be in the majority in the MP's that were sent to Westminster. Seems that the Norman element did get integrated into the original Irish aristocrisy and things would have been ok if it wasn't for the Tudors laying claim to the sovereignty of Ireland.

I suppose, at some point in time, I will try to find myself to Jacob's site ~~~ but, at the moment, my mind is continuously distracted by day to day events. Nothing bad happening, but little things (water heater shit the bed, this morning) that test one's ability to stay patient and see the bigger picture. I hate to use Covid as a cover, but the daily intake of what the media puts forth can tax a person's spirit. But otherwise I am doing okay and hope you are too. I hear you on the Real Time footage, if it is that. That being said, Mark, enjoy a fine afternoon ahead and whatever you may do. Continue to stay SAFE, as well.

Morning Mark, lol I know, every name has probably already been thought of. I like the name "Calufrax" think that`s how it`s spelt? Also "Hummateel" Again not sure of the spelling? ~ Have you seen the astartes action figures? I was thinking of getting one, then repainting it. Is the game full of violence? The thing about warhammer 40k is the size of the universe. So many characters, armies, species and groups. There`s a vid on yt of a bloke who built his own astartes suit and he stands a good 8 feet tall too. Bloody amazing, the only iffy thing was the walking, you could see he was having difficulty.

Hey Mark. I just checked out your Michael Collins tribute. Well made, and worth watching. I didn't know a thing about him. But you did choose the right song. It made an impact. I googled the guy and he was quite a character. I am usually not a huge fan of these revolutionairies and freedomfighters, cause it usually end with violence and innocent deaths. Like bloody sunday. Anyway Mark, I like your videos. Enjoy the upcoming week.

I just came across it while searching for free .wav files to use in my music. Of course the first few links were all of vulgar, adult related content, which I have no place for! Pigs, I tell ya. Disgusting pervs. ;-) Hahaha! Off to watch Mary Poppins now, and MAYBE The Sound Of Music.

I don't blame you ~~~ at least here, you'll be able to control the creative process and build upon your uploads. It does your talent no service to have the work not be noticed. Yes, mon frère, it would be a terrible admission to tell some future world that we humans (some of us, that is) bear a certain amount of responsibility for unleashing this horrid mess ~~~ deliberate or otherwise. Although, I don't know what's worse; any malice attached to the pathogen's origin or our unpreparedness in reacting to it. I hope the best for your local coffee shop and its employees (the loyal patrons too). It's hard to rebuild what gets broke, but even harder to replace what things may fade from our daily landscape. You stay the course and in keeping your spirit strong ~~~ enjoy a fine afternoon ahead, what you may find respite in, and the last week of February. It's still cold, on this end of paradise, but I am starting to hear the beckoning calls of certain birds and they usually have a better sense of things. I'd still love that offer from an alien world; hitching a ride to whenever and whatever. Continue to stay SAFE over there, Mark.
