Yo friend, sorry i've not been here much for a few days, but then again, maybe you have not been either ? All the physics and metaphysics findings are fascinating. But there comes a time to me that i just want to try to fit it all together like they all have some fundamental unifying postulate common to them. What is it? Can you answer me this? i really want to hear your opinion: *How much of our lives are according to our free will, and how much is out of our control*? Its an age-old philosophical debate, and my thoughts on it have changed more than once.

Hey there, wishing You and Sherrie a great new week. Yes, it is an extreme pleasure to meet a like mind. Not just that, but anyone who thinks and contemplates metaphysical ideas in general is a blessing. You've heard that saying, "Average people discuss people, above average people discuss events, and superior people discuss ideas"? :) Yes, the double slit experiment and 'non-locality' seem very plausible to me. Ya know Mark, odd as it may seem, i was born thinking most of this stuff, and people looked at me like i was crazy when i tried to explain it to them (well, i may be crazy too.... why be normal? haha) Then years later i read the same stuff. I've always thought that Time does not go in a simple linear (line) with the present in the middle. Time seems more spontaneous to me, like it all happens at one time, if you picture in your mind the circle or sphere spinning very rapidly - Maybe faster than the speed of light. You know, all matter ceaces to exist when the speed of light is passed, and matter becomes smaller as the speed of light is approached ? But here in the physical plane with our limited senses we can only perceive time as having three facets: past, present, future. Why not affect the past by future assertions ? *What do You think"? - Especially if Time is bent into a circle with no beginning nor end. Sometimes seeing into the 'future' is not difficult, if we do not think of it as the future ! Cheers. xx

Mark - i might apologize for hogging your comments, but i will not do so, as i believe all happens for a reason. If not known in the "present', then at least in retrospect. And i would be doing you a grave injustice if not to acknowledge your infinitely brilliant postulate that "We have the Universe within us". (At times i thought i was the only one to know this?) Many people who view my cottonceena's channel videos of the vastness of the Universe are mentally bogged down by thinking that we are so "small" as compared to the Universe. I must tell them that the Universe also goes in the OPPOSITE direction - to infinitely minute (small). Our bodies are made of molecules, made of atoms, made of electrons, etc, etc, the same configuration as the solar system, making the galaxies, making the constellations, etc. YES, THE UNIVERSE IS WITHIN US. Each one of us. we are a Hologram - or in the current vernacular, a FRACTILE of the Universe. That means we contain all the component parts of the Universe within us. And conversely, we are an integral part of the big picture. Then one may conclude that we are the "center" of the Universe. Well, yes, and no. As physics shows - Time and matter are not 'flat'. They BEND around to meet at the ends to form a circle (in 2 dimensions) or a sphere (in three dimensions). Therefore, there is no beginning, no end, no middle. Just infinity. And we can chose to make of it all whatever we desire with our own individual unique consciousness. Reality is in the Mind of the beholder. :)

Yes, my friend. It always makes things worthwhile when i encounter a THINKER such as yourself, so thank You. And often sadly, people will argue and think that they disagree, when they believe the same thing, but the words by definition, or semantics hold different meanings. What my main goal in life, i suppose and in general on these sites is to *encourage people to use their brain and to think*! Whether they agree with me or not is not of prime importance. But i DO agree with You, exactly what You said: " we do not merely reside within the universe, but we actually are the universe, made aware of itself? Think of this way, if we are made of the same stuff as the universe, and we posses consciousness, we are self aware, then could it not be argued, that the universe itself, is a conscious living thing, aware of itself through us?" 1,000,000% agreed ! Myself, i really do not matter in this discussion. The important part is the IDEAS. Have you read the book, " The Self-Aware Universe" by Amit Goswami, PHD ? Maxx Plaank who won the physics Nobel Prize cuncluded after all of his research: "There is a force behind the Universe from which we are all a part of. Consciousness is the Key. Quantum physics shows that when minute energy particles are photographed with an electron microscope, they react differently than when being observed by a human. The Japanese scientist Masaru Emoto proved that human thoughts even have en effect on water crystals. Indeed, we are not only a part of the Universe, but we are an actual HOLOGRAM of it. We have unlimited power. This is why i am impressed by your sidebar (about me) of your opinions. It exhibits your intelligence as a THINKER, whether anyone agrees with you, or not doesn't matter. As i said, i do not matter, but YES, i was born with a burning desire to understand things, including Life and the Universe, and among other studies i do have a degree in physics, which means nothing, except that i want to KNOW. Quantum Physics holds the key to so many answers. And oddly, i see very little contradiction in the MAIN philosophy of the Bible. It does not seem to contradict with Science. After all, it seems Jesus (who studied Buddhism) taught that we are all ONE. Its the self-made evangelists who foul up the translations for their materialistic goals. I just find it irksome that his followers seem to only think of the Golden Rule when its time to buy presents or chocolate eggs. Twice a year. Then often stand on a soapbox and preach that they have the ONLY answer.... xx

It means basically that the interpretation of Life and the Universe is up to each individual's perception: As long as it does not defy scientific fact. That being said, it is more important that people at least THINK, than that they have no opinion or thoughts at all. (That's scary) IMHO i can certainly understand why an 'atheist' rejects the idea of a 'god' who is an angry old man in the sky. haha Obvious rubbish. But through physics it has been proven that we are all part of the "Universal Force", the one Energy that depending on whatever particular vibratory level of matter, makes it a tree, a cat, or a human. (For reference = Max Plaank, Nobel Prize winner for Physics, and others who have done extensive research in quantum physics.). We are all ONE, separation is an illusion. TBS - Neither you nor I created the Universe, yet we are an inseparable part of the creative force that does create. Therefore we have unlimited power within us. If we just believe. Again: *Reality is in the Mind of the Beholder, and it differs from one individual to the next. Totally credible, as long as it does not contradict science".
