I never knew about this, and I have to say I am impressed! I have never been a huge Clapton fan, although I do know he is one of the best ever. Having my own battles with addiction when I was much younger makes this one hit home for me even more. Great fou...

The Crossroads Guitar Festival is founded by Eric Clapton. The festivals benefit the Crossroads Centre also founded by Eric Clapton, a drug treatment center in Antigua. The concerts showcase a variety of guitarists, selected by Eric Clapton personally.
The first concert was held on June 30, 1999, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
