than get get Reboots to gems to already successful Classics! First It was that Digimon Adventure Reboot,Than the Dragon Quest Dai Reboot,Than Battle Atheletes Restart (Sequel and Semi Reboot to the original 90's Battle Atheletes) and than the Shaman King 2021 Reboot,and so the next line to follow in the Reboot Hype Train is now the Long awaited Tokyo Mew Mew Reboot which just came out today!
but how does this compare to the original Classic 2002-2003 Studio Pierrot version!? Alot of Newcomers have been wondering too as well,so what was changed in this new reboot compared to the classic 2002 Show!???? Well only one way to find out,which is why i putted together this awsome Comparisions Video comparing th Transformations and battle scenes from thee original 2002 version and the 2022 Reboot!
2 major things I've already noticed right off the bat after watching this episode is that While the designs look more detail and Bishoujo than ever,but Modern 2022 Ichigo shows off way more halarious facial expressions than she did in the original 2002-2003 series making Modern Ichigo more on par with alot of the current line of Modern Moe Anime characters like 2016 reboot Nurse Witch Komugi and the Modern Pretty Cure seasons like Hugtto,Star Twinkle,Healin Good,Delicious Party! Now Yes,while Classic Ichigo in the original 2002 show did have some weird/awkward funny moments at times,but they were never this over the top.XD This is WAY TOO MUCH........Modern Ichigo is nothing more but a Modern Precure character poorly disguised as Classic 2002 Ichigo! which again,Old School Mew Ichigo was never like this!!
2nd! another major change they made in the reboot is,that they introduced Mew Minto (Mint Aizawa) way Earlier in this reboot than they did in the original anime which here she participates in helping Ichigo out in hr first battle against the giant mutant rat Monster which this didn't happen at all in neither the original 2002-2003 anime nor The Manga!
I understand these writers want to put they're own spin of the classic story not trying to directly copy the manga,but hopefully in terms of storyline,this doesn't end up going the Sailor Moon Crystal route by Rushing it! Something I don't want!
