Well since they do make loads of money and have a dozen of users using the site. I believe it is not dying. But respectively, yes it is. They lost a lot of people's trust. Including me.

I have to admit. Youtube is dying!!, youtube has proven to be manipulative and untrustworthy of their website, I watched their video last night titled, lets talk about subscriptions. and they give us such bullshit that they claim that youtube doesn't unsubscribed channels and was no sub glitch, when I heard what they said. I was fucking furious because I lost over 10,000 subscribers back in spring 2012, they damn well knew about the sub glitch, they were paid by google to say those words, what youtube needs to do is make a view clarifications and be very honest about what's happened about the unsubscribing glitch instead of beating around the bush.

As I've said before GoogleTube is finally paying for the bad deeds it has accumulated over the past 5+ years. The community on that site is getting stronger for one reason: Money. You have these big GoogleTubers making LOTS of money and if GoogleTube goes that influx of cash is either lessened or eliminated all together. Now why anyone with a successful Patreon uses GoogleTube is really beyond me. I think if GoogleTube dies you will see a number of sites pop up out of nowhere. I think also Vidme will become much larger. That is just my 2 cents though.

I doubt YouTube will ever 'go away' now, as it's a vast corporate entity that while bumbling, has remained reliable enough to maintain videos now for more than a decade in some cases. I think what we are seeing is a transformation from a community-oriented site to one of a corporate marketplace, and though that sucks for the community elements of it, it's good news for existing content creators and channels, as more resources will be put into their channels and networks to make them profitable. It is what it is at this point, not much any of us can do about it.
