Would you believe me if I told you it felt like it got down to -20 here? Or would it be more believable if I told you it felt like (to me) it got down to -20 here? Well, it did. Even here in the house. I had to pull out the big fuzzy socks a few days ago. “We all” can’t move in with me, but “you” are welcome to come on down! I think you’d last about three hours….nothing to do with the weather, you’d just probably want to get away from me. 😊 ~ On another note…I’m here for you, but you know that. XOX

I don't know what it is these days with so many crossover artists, but it is impressive how many truly talented young actors/actresses can actually sing as well. I think Brittney Spears and Christina Aguilera were from The Mickey Mouse Club. I'm not saying Brittney is a talented singer, but she sure has had success. Christina on the other hand is an incredible vocalist and performer. I am also seeing more and more of it elsewhere, not only from Disney. Lots of them really aren't that talented, but the studio does wonders with auto-tune, etc. Seeing the artists perform live (no lip syncing) is the true test.

I completely agree that music can do amazing things for people, mentally and physically. I have only known one person throughout my entire life that did not like music. Some people are not moved by it, and just enjoy a good song or jingle. I think musicians, or people with musical backgrounds tend to feel more of the message in songs, but maybe I am wrong. I too have been leaning on music lately. I have been on YT using my Amazon Fire Stick in the evenings, so I can watch vids on the TV. Lately, I have been watching all sorts of stuff, and it's great because I am coming across lots of new material, and revisiting songs I had long since forgotten about. I guess YT is still good for something, lol!

Hey Nathan , good to see you back here. Just read what you said down below. Bit cryptic. But I am sorry to hear you are going through tough times. The fact that you are able to get back up, when life gives you crap is a pretty solid value Nathan. Always remember ,you are one of the good guys. A lot of us, incl. me, know this and appreciate your friendship ,so that is worth something.

I know that music has always found a way to keep your spirit strong ~~~ so continue with that too. Glad to hear that your parents have been spared that horror show going on with much of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and a good portion of the state. Also glad to hear that your part of the country is safe and well. We had gotten about 15 inches or snow, but some of it has melted and the rest always compacts ~~~ but the cold has decided to stay awhile longer (today, we're getting some nuisance SNOW). But, supposedly, the 10 Day Forecast has us experiencing temps close to 50 ~~~ so that will feel like Summer. haha! ;p Anyways, my Good Friend, sending you my very best and for your Brother too.
