The result of that illness is witnessed here at this concert. His once powerful voice diminished to a fraction of what it once was. Forever the showman, Lenny persevered in what must have been an excruciating experience in his weakened state. He not only was diagnosed with a lung infection he also suffered with diabetes and congested heart failure. Just four days after his seventieth birthday on 28-Dec.-2015 and a little more than a year after this concert Lemmy succumbed to his illness and passed away. R.I.P.
