in japan this game released for the super famicom as Dinowars: Kyouryuu Oukoku e no Daibouken,and when it was brought to the U.S.........well,just like every other japanese game at the time,we got screwed with another derpy misleading american box art,which the japanese box art is way better,so what else is new.lol.
anyway,unlike in super mario world,your stuck with the dino buddy at all times,but you can at least still hop off him which the female character "Jamie" has a freeze gun which can stun/freeze enemies in they're tracks:P
This Game was developed by Irem,the same company that gave us the Super R-type series and Metal Storm for the NES
