The 1989 season of Sally the Witch is a popular new update of the original version and made it Sally the Witch 2 which is like Himitsu no Akko-Chan 2 and Sailor Moon but developed in TV Asahi.
The theme song has a genre of Dixieland (or in the 1989 is 80's electro or the 2000s is J-Pop).

Anyway,on another note,after finnally getting a chance to finnally see an episode of the 60's version (Which I now need to track down the 80's version), Mahou Girls Precure should be absolutely ashame of itself for ripping off this anime and Little Witch Academia,because Mahou girls Precure is not a legit Witch anime which is nothing more but a Pretty cure season (and a really terrible Precure season at that too,and one of the WORST precure seasons ever made,and YES,even 10 times worst than Smile Pretty Cure.) trying to disguise itself as a Witch anime and failing miserabully at it.
