Live at Later... with Jools Holland , 9 July 1994. Mazzy Star was David Roback and Hope Sandoval mainly. Hope, most talk about her and are in awe, looks , voice. But David Roback, he wrote all the great music. Before Mazzy Star he and his brother were in a band with Susanna Hoffs. So the guy has taste , ehm an ear AND an eye for talent. His songwriting and guitar work has been highly influential, on so many bands after them, and even Lana Del Rey.
He died of Metastatic cancer. RIP April 4, 1958 &ndas...
