Description
In 2011, during the height of the Somalian Pirate scourge on she shipping lanes on the African coast, the Russian Federation dispatched a destroyer to protect Russian shipping interests in the region. Seeing a new ship on the horizon emboldened a group of pirates to attempt to seize the former Soviet North fleet warship. As it so happens, the Russians do not take kindly to pirates, and took the opportunity to shell their pirate ship with a literal battery of heavy weapons.
