Chicago Transit Authority or Chicago as they eventually went by with the great late Terry Kath on guitar. CTA were such a force to be reckoned with in the 70's. Their first few albums were a much more progressive jazzy hard rock fusion FM radio sound than the pop hit making machine they eventually became but all of their music was simply extraordinary. It's hard to explain just how big this band became.
