Cool review. You're getting better or more comfortable with these I guess. So yeah, great job. The movie itself, I doubt I'll ever see it, dunno. I was contemplating watching it the other day seeing how it's supposed to be so good and all but.... it was a tossup. On one channel I had some damn fine episodes of Hogan's Heroes goin' on. Hogan or another homosexual themed hollywood flick? Every year we get bombarded and inundated with many homosexual themed movies around Oscar time. I thought long and hard (roughly 1/10th of a second) and Colonel Hogan won out. :) Truth be told a list of Oscar nominated films is usually (not always but usually) a list of films to avoid for me. But this year I did like I, Tonya as well as Molly's Game with Jessica Chastain. Not all of the movies are vehicles for hollywood to cram their ultra-left jackassery down our throats. Most are, but again did like those 2. Made it 'bout a third of the way thru Lady Bird before switching over to a re-run of Flipper, thought it was a mess but yeah, great vid Kandace! Lookin' forward to more.

Hey, thanks for your great comment ! I know where you're coming from with how hollyweird seems to favor gay themes. Myself i almost did not see this, but i am glad i did because it was so great as a romance only./ Like i said in the review, this was not a flaming nut movie, it is more of a psychological and emotional journey about maybe the first love that we all remember and the bittersweet memories. Actually the two guys lead parts were pretty straight.... but stuff happens ? Also the amazing photography of this small Italian town and countryside along with the people was worth seeing the movie for in itself. I do not consider this a "Gay" movie, although Gays have exhaulted it as such and i am sure homophobics condemn it. To bad in a way things cannot be more enjoyed with open minds but hey, that's the way it is. people will support their own color, their own race, their own religion and so forth, and in this case IMHO i believe its a mistake to miss this one. Suffice it to say i did not see Brokeback Mountain nor any of the others that i thought might be promoting a certain lifestyle as opposed to another, but this movie was way different - with NO apparent agenda to promote. Well better than a bunch of old men fighting in a 50 year old war TV sitcom rerun. Maybe i will see Molly's Game if its still playing. I also hear ya about the intro on Three Billboards, but if ya get past that, you'll see the movie was NOT a cop hater movie, in fact the main character Francis McDormand became rather unlikable as the plot unfolded and the cops came out in the end as the good guys. T'was very philosophical, a thinkers' movie, just what i like. And hey, thanks for your compliment. Yes, in the first couple of rants and reviews i was trying to read from some notes and i don't think they flowed that well. Now i just rip the words off the top of my head. Thanks again for watching and taking the time to share your thoughts. :) PEACE xx
