This, is a remix album credited to The Beatles which was released in 2009 on a blog post. The post contained a fictional narrative story, which was written by an anonymous person under the pen name "James Richards". He or she wrote of having traveled to a parallel universe where the Beatles had never broken up and retrieved a cassette tape containing one of their supposed albums from that timeline. In reality, its contents are several mashup tracks, composed mostly of various recordings by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr from their individual solo careers. Richards denied that the album was composed of mashups, rationalizing that "even though in the alternate universe the Beatles hadn't broken up, that didn't mean their future music ideas disappeared."
