Yeah, this one's kinda tough to tackle as Page laid down SO many guitar tracks and overdubs etc. A real engineering marvel.

Soooo lucky you got to see them with the original lineup! I didn't get a chance to see them until it was that Plant/Page tour. No comparison. All I know is out of all the Zep songs I have "loosely covered" on guitar, I think I must have played ...

All I know is out of all the Zep songs I have "loosely covered" on guitar, I think I must have played this one the most. I always loved that transition in the acoustic intro, from 6-string to the 12-string. I wore out the cheap, crappy Fender Acoustic 12-string frets playing this one, lol! Great addition!
Read more...Kind of a fun one here... This is Monday July 17th 2017. well exactly 40 yrs ago on Sunday July 17th 1977 Me n my buddy Eric saw the mighty Zep in our now imploded Kingdome here in Seattle. :) Tickets were $10.00 and that was expensive for the day. Most concerts were 6 to 8 dollars. We were 16 yrs old and had the time of our life. Along with 65,000 other fans :)
