Favorite console? Probably the N64 or the Gamecube. I was not part of the NES/SNES era, and didn't get an N64 until WAY after it was obsolete. I like the N64 for what it was able to do with it's limited hardware, and how much raw fun they managed to pack into it. The Gamecube was bit-for-bit as good as the PS2, though the PS2 has somewhat better games imo. The Gamecube was also Nintendo's last "power" console, pushing technical limitations, rather than gimmicks. The great days when Nintendo led the industry... instead of, whatever it is they're doing now.

Oh by the way, an interesting fact is that the late actor Robin Williams was such a fan of The Legend Of Zelda series that he name his daughter after Princess Zelda from the series.
