December 21 is the day with the least amount of light (in the northern hemisphere). This is truly the end of the old Earth year, and the beginning of the new one. Most all cultures over the world, since recorded history, have revered this time as the " Festival Of Lights " ( Hannukah, Christmas, Kwanza, pagans, etc.). This represents our human power to Light Up The Darkness, and in so doing to control our lives and destinies. We cannot control what the Universe gives us, but we CAN control how we deal with it, and that makes all the difference in the world !
This is a perfect time for meditation on our lives, and where we are going. Its up to You ! Its a new day, a new year, a new chance. Every birth contains the seeds of death. And every death contains the seeds of birth.
Happy Winter Solstice.
