Someone asked me, "if I was stuck on a desert island, what book would I bring?" I said "How to build a boat"
I remember when I was popular, those were the days...........Actually that`s a lie, I was never popular :)

Duke Michael! I just read that Han Solo's blaster gun used by Harrison Ford was sold for $500,050.00 so you better start saving up your euros;) How many lightsabers have you played with lately...i meant when you were a kid? My Thanksgiving turkey induced a loooong nap by me soon after i gobbled it;) Enjoy your Friday!

Hey Michael! Really interesting bit of trivia regarding the vipers/Buck Rogers. Where did you find that little tid bit? I always love stuff like that. I watched The Mandalorian again tonight with my g/f, and during the show I was naming the similar characters I recognized from the original films, along with naming the vehicles and ships, and she just looked over at me and said "You must have REALLY been into Star Wars, huh?" NERD ALERT! Hahahaha, it was classic, but deep down I suppose on some level she is right. Really happy to hear you enjoyed the film! Poor Chip. Just so you know, Melissa is also a big fan of the film as well. I'm sure you aren't surprised by that, since you know she lives for stuff like that. Anything twisted and dark is right up her alley. I just uploaded a video I created after watching the movie when it first came out. Funny how we sometimes find great music from the soundtracks of many films, which is the case with this one. I believe this song was playing during the end credits, if I remember correctly. Thanks for the Turkey Day wishes my friend. Are you doing anything out there? Whatever the day brings, I hope you enjoy it.

Lord Michael! Thanksgiving day will be a stay home affair away from extended seldom seen family drama....YAY!!!! A feast will be delivered and i'll probably watch a mostly naked parade(no marching bands, no cheering crowds on cluttered sidewalks and fewer floats to see) on TV:) How expensive would that mask be? If it's made of metal be prepared for headaches, but you should stay pain free if it's just a plastic-pretend-to-be;) Stay safe!

Due Michael! Are your muscles less sore yet? There is a fairly large woods near the rear of my abode though no animals such as deer, steers, or bears have ever been cited by me in the leas!?! I have seen many raccoons, possums, rabbits, squirrels, rats, owls, and wild turkeys fertilizing my pastures so the weeds and spring onions can out grow the grass i planted;( Weather here has turned cool here in the early morn, 45 degrees F. Brrr! Stay well and warm over there mate:)

Hi Michael. I get what you mean about the original series. I guess the reason I really liked it is probably because I was/am a Star Wars freak, and watched the movies in the theaters multiple times. Yet, there was nothing even similar to it on tv at the time. I never got into Star Trek, so when I discovered BSG, it was a breath of fresh air! A space saga that played out similarly to Star Wars. Not with the effects obviously, but with several similarities to the Star Wars saga, it was just what I needed to get my "space show fix" on. The Colonial Fleet = The Rebel Alliance and Cylon Empire = The Galactic Empire. You get it I'm sure. Buck Rogers? Another good one. Erin Grey is a beautiful woman. We also had the opportunity to watch her on "Silver Spoons" which is absolutely unwatchable now, but back then it was great just to see her, lol! Watched the 4th installment of The Mandalorian last night, and I must say it was the best one yet! Well, at least as far as the effects are concerned. It had it all! X-Wings, Tie Fighters, Land Speeders, Speeder Bikes, etc. Man those scenes where fantastic! I am going to watch it again just for the effects alone. Have a nice day tomorrow!

Somehow I had a feeling you wouldn't be a fan of the old series. It might be different if you grew up on it, like I did. It took me a long time to accept Starbuck as a female, and the cylons in human form. Although, Number Six made it much, much easier, lol! I see I have a new addition of The Mandelorian to watch tonight. Can't wait! Did you have a chance to watch any of the films I recommended? Looking forward to your reviews. Have a good one my friend!

I really don't have time for anything anymore. I just had Sunday off. Ready for next week for Thanksgiving. Moving too. Not out of town just up the street. How was your weekend? :)
