A happy Friday to you as well Nathan! Yes, it was so nice getting just a little time to myself in the quiet beauty of nature. I hope you have more time soon to take some more photos. I miss doing that sort of thing. You should share some of your pics on here! Are you taking many lately? I always enjoyed your work. Any plans for the weekend? Stay away from those wasps, lol! Howdy Nathan! Good idea to use a brown bag. Whatever it takes to keep those monsters at bay, lol! I had some time this morning to go to an area I hadn't visited in several years. It is very unique, in the fact that it has large trees that are constantly partially submerged year round. It gets worse in the winter, but even in spring they are living in what I call swamp conditions. It is very rare around this area to see things like this. We have mostly ocean, bays, and traditional lakes, but nothing like this. When I found this little trail and explored it years ago, this is what I discovered in the middle. It is a little oasis in the middle of the suburbs, and a nice break from the daily hustle and bustle of city life. The original image look a million times better than this, but I had to shrink it down to almost nothing to get it on the site. I am no professional photographer, just taken from my phone. Hope you are having a good one!
