It is about how much they hate being on a record label and also how they hate capitalism. This video shows live footage of playing in a smaller club. They were known for letting fans inside for free, if they couldn't affort a ticket.Did sneak them in their hotelrooms, let them sleep on the floor. At 2:30 in this clip you see how big the arena's were they played in the US . Round 1980 they were about the biggest band in the world. Joe never could come to terms with that. That's why they broke up. Cause he fired Mick Jones, who enjoyed the lifestyle of the big loaded rockstar, a little too much. And he wrote the songs with Joe, like Lennon/McCartney or Richards/Jagger. Joe Strummer always stood by for what he believed in. RIP Joe Strummer.
