Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) joins Andrea Mitchell, telling her that she’s “hopeful" the votes hold on the defense bill and that the Senate "will, with a strong bipartisan vote, override [the president’s] veto.” She also said Senator Josh Hawley’s announced plan to challenge the electoral college certification next week is “outrageous.
