The landing craft air cushions and landing craft utilites launched from USS Ashland (LSD 48) and USS Green Bay (LPD 20) that enabled movement of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) forces and equipment ashore in order for the MEU to complete mission objectives in tandem with Australia counterparts.
