A Seconds From Disaster documentary exploring the construction and resulting disaster of the Vajont Dam in Monte Toc, Italy. On October 9th, 1963, following months of ignored warnings about geological instability, a landslide poured down the mountainside into the reservoir, which displaced roughly 1/3 of the resevoir's water over the top of the dam in a massive tsunami wave. The 50 million cubic feet of water swept down the valley, destroying everything in it's path in minutes, killing 1,910 people....
