I've heard about the original youtube trolls before, they are the worst but the site owner got rid of them pretty fast;
the later one though when i joined in 2009 were Hippocrates and harder to remove the only main thing you could
do was block them, and yes i've met a few people that were nice but they told me a strict rule about being an sub 4
subber and that one rule was..never put anyone in your box unless they plan on doing so themselves.

I've met those types of users when i was a sub for subber on youtube before i stopped, and your right they are
not the people you think they are; they are wolves in sheeps clothing. but it took me to get to this point in my life
to realize that, but actually more or less until it got to late part of youtube in order to see it.
