Yes Blaine, those Parakeets can easily get into trouble, no doubt! Sadly for me, my pet Parakeet died after we had an apartment fire from smoke inhalation. I will say you definitely did your research on The Wicker Man. Even down to the pert about her being shot from the waist up and the body double. Let me just tell you, whoever the body double was, which I could never find any info on, was really well formed, to keep it "G rated". Still worthy of a viewing when you have the time. You basically described the entire film perfectly! Still, you have to watch it because it is extremely haunting, creepy, and there is one scene featuring the lovely Britt Ekland that is very memorable. There is also the updated Nick Cage version, which I still enjoyed, but it's a bit of a different storyline, with the same ending. So, you are rockin' it on Windows 7 and a lap top huh? You are better of sticking to that, AND not owning a cell phone my friend. Although they are pretty much a necessity here, frankly I hate them. Nothing but a source of stress, and the worst part is they are dangerous. Texting while driving, crossing the street, etc. Also basically dewstroying what is left of any "real" communication between people at restaurants, gatherings, etc. Everyone is on their phones rather than spending precious time with those who are with them. I don't see anything changing in the foreseeable future, so I can either keep complaining or accept it. At least that's what they tell me, lol! Hope your week is starting out great!

Hi Blaine! Well, I had a parakeet too, but didn't care for it that much to be honest. I was talked into buying one by my older sister. Supposedly, they can learn to whistle and talk, but I didn't have the patience. Then there was clipping the wings so the bird would commit suicide by flying into the mirror or sliding glass door when out of the cage. Not to mention cleaning the cage, and the constant noise all night long. Not a good pet for me.
