We gotta give some respects to the Original OGs,because MAN,when you look at the recent Modern Precure seasons and compare them to the older early 2000's seasons such as Futari Wa Pretty Cure and Yes Pretty Cure 5,and especially when you compare today's 2010's Modern Precure Seasons to Mai Otome!!??
you can defentially see how Much the Recent Precure seasons have declined over the years!, "SMile" is when the franchise started declining in it's seasonal rot state that it's in right now,they picked up back again with Doki Doki,Happiness charge and especially Go! Princess,but than it all went to absolute hell when the franchise took itself in the ass with the WORST season in existance "Mahou Tsukai" with nothing at all good about it,but however they're trying to get things back on track with star twinkle which is finnally starting to pick itself back up after so many lackluster fights from these last few episodes recently,but RIGHT NOW,Cure Selene seriously needs to step up her game if she wants to prove herself worthy of the star twinkle team!
Now as for Mai Hime,fun fact,I first started watching this series way back in 2009,around the same time i first started watching Fresh Pretty Cure.lol. Now while Mai Otome was a fun series too and kind of call me biase on this one,but I pefer Mai and Natsuki from Mai hime better because they remind me so much of Nagisa and Honoka from Futari wa.lol
Anyways! This song is called "Tatakae!! Iczer 1" Which is from the 80's Anime OVA "Fight Iczer One" [Fight Iczer 1]
