The game that's being played in the background here is "Tempest" (not to be confused with the Atari 2600 game of the same name), a game where you play as a pirate captain that can do pretty much anything you want in a fantasy re-imagining of the Caribbean. The best part is that Steam has a giveaway event going on through the middle of next week, and Tempest is one of the games they are giving out for free- if you want to give it a spin, definitely give this one a look!
