Yep,thats right folks,an adaption of the classic Horror Story Dr Frankenstein and his Monster by Bandai (Those same guys that gave us those awsome DragonBall Z,Onepiece,Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure Games!). however,Bandai were pretty much a hit and Miss during they're NES Era days and you'll see why in a Min!
Although this game plays like your typical Castlevania clone, but there are several differences that set this game apart from other clones at the time. James Rolfe (AVGN) mentioned this game in his Frankensteine video games Angry video game nerd episode,so I decided to try out this game for myself! now this game is no where near as bad as most people make it out to be but however I do agree with James Rolfe that the game has it's flaws such as the terrible Level Designs and the abtrocious Wonky Hit detection, which is some of the worst hit detection I've ever seen in an NES Game, and because of that,it makes most of the boss battles a chore to get through, but I digress ^^.
this game does however get a passing grade for it's amazing soundtrack and the Ninja Gaiden Style Cutscenes between Levels!:P
