I found the BBC documentary --- I thought its maybe a truer version of the story and more from an English viewpoint as they were surprisingly English even though before they that they were in Holland for 12 years where they were probably exploited by the Dutch --- you know what the Dutch arew like as I do myself --- experiencing it on a daily basis !!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway ---- you don't have to watch it just my own foible.

The other thing I wanted to say was I saw a programme the other night on TV about the "founding fathers" I think you referred to them as that once----- with Richard Bradford the who played a part in the Mayflower experdition --- seems his birthplace and early home in England are relatively close to here ---- 51 miles. I think that's where the Puritan contingent came from. "Scrooby" North Nottinghamshire. Anyway very interesting until a later ship arrived in 1630 and didn't respect the peace the Plymouth colonists had made with the "Indians" Much was spoken of the book "Of Plimouth Plantation" written by Bradford. I think it was a program commemorating 400 years since the Mayflower arrived in the bay of Cape Cod. I'll look if you tube has part of the programme.

Last time I wrote a message just after it seemed Trump was losing the presidential election, I said I'd bake a cake if Biden got in --- a few days ago I finally got around to baking one. Nothing too fancy for my first attempt --- it was a Victoria Sponge --- in case you don;t know baked in 2 halves when it comes out the oven amd cooled "jelly" is spread over it --- to me its jam, in this case I used raspberry jam. The recipe was easy--- 6 ounzes margarine, 6 ounces margarine, 6 ozs. self raising flour, 11/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of vanolla essence. 2 minutes with electric mixer and pour or put into the two baking tins, Oven for 25 minutes ---- Hang on !!!!! there were also 3 eggs in the mixture, anyway oven temperature 180 Centigrade (266 Fahrenheit) Our oven has Centigrade settings on it. Oh its all gone, On the "jam" I put whipped cream and the next day had whipped cream in my coffee. Sorry I can't send any but the post isn't everything it used to be --- the same as the postal votes in the US ---- you're just not geared up to handle them but thank God they came through.

Hey you! ;) I managed to get on here real quick. This is rare because I have no time really with work and all and moving next week over Thanksgiving? We are really busy right now making parts for cars around the holidays that we will lose our weekends soon. I just had today off. But yeah the computer is back up and running. How are you? How was the week?
