Description
Someone asked me, "if I was stuck on a desert island, what book would I bring?" I said "How to build a boat"
I remember when I was popular, those were the days...........Actually that`s a lie, I was never popular :)

Lord Michael! Ya got mold! LOL!! Seems you need to buy a boat or at least one or more of those life rings as they were called back in the Titanic days. I hope you're now free of mold and cool and DRY!

I promise to stay in touch, Michael. 2023 began quietly for me and I suppose that may be a good thing. I spent the first two days of the year in Boston. The holiday falling on a Sunday gave way to the holiday being celebrated on the next-day Monday. Ended up going to a hockey game that was played at FENWAY PARK. The NHL hosts an annual WINTER CLASSIC outdoor hockey game and this year it was in Boston. Bought the ticket at the last minute and spent the game amid the visiting team's family members which happened to be the Pittsburgh Penguins. It's funny how things sometimes play out ~~~ not sure if it is serendipity or just random happenstance ~~~ perhaps, a bit of both. Most importantly, my Good Friend, and I have stated this before: no need to ever apologize for your absence. Your duty as our friend is foremost to yourself first ~~~ then we can reconnect and share any&all new things we have experienced. I continue to hope that 2023 is your ABSOLUTE BEST YEAR YET. Enjoy your week ahead. Holiday in the states 2moro ~~~ Martin Luther King Day.

Good afternoon, Michael, and close to a new evening for you. I Thank You for that confidence. Know that your kind friendship is most appreciated too. So Boxing Day finds you and I hope it finds you having enjoyed a good Christmas amid the company of friends and loved ones. I promise to keep the channel active and to visit it more frequently. I may go QUIET, come New Year's Eve and a few days after. I will be in Boston for a few days and have just extended my stay by one day. An unrelated meeting for a friend of mine made it fortunate for me to stay a bit longer and I found a room half of what I was paying elsewhere. And it (the hotel) is almost attached to the train station that I eventually depart from. Certain holidays (Marathon Monday and July 4th) are more expensive to stay but the upcoming one seems to be relatively painless to the pocketbook. Anyways, my Good Friend, may you and yours attend to enjoying what's left to 2022. Wishing you a bright start to the upcoming New Year 2023. :)

No need to worry, my friend, nor ever apologize. I am not sure if I ever said this to you, but your only obligation as my friend is to yourself and in enjoying a Good Life. You get to your friends when you can and if that does not suffice to their wishes ... oh, well. The most important thing is continuing to stay SAFE amid the world strife that envelops certain tiny pockets of our small but vast world. Plus, I'd want you to be enjoying the time leading up to Christmas Day, Christmas itself, and a not-so-far-away New Year's celebration to ring in 2023. I hope it is a fortunate year for you and your loved ones ~~~ I hope some of our world leaders not so much grow a heart but muster enough forethought to realize that their actions (good or bad) resonate through time and so choose the former. My very best to you and yours for the upcoming holiday ~~~ Merry Christmas, Michael. You take it easy over there, my Good Friend. :)

Whilst my thoughts are fresh ~~~ cannot speak German, but I look proficient thanks to Google Translate. Truthfully, English is my only spoken language. My Mom named me Jean-Pierre and my Dad's family are Québécois, BUT the funny thing is that I can't speak a word of French. HA! Although, I wish that I could speak Spanish and due to the higher density of Spanish speakers in America (or parts of it). I promise to lay down a Hello to Melissa for you. If you were to see her page at CS1, it looks like we are in communication ~~~ but, at the moment, she is elsewhere ... hopefully, enjoying life. Her link to her YT channel may be a better way to contact her. I did catch the Messi goal, yesterday, and I am always thoroughly impressed with his ball handling skills. I am not making light of his height (5'7"), but I wonder if that lower center of gravity helps or if he just has mad skills? I'd say the players on ENGLAND that catch my eye are Kane, Maguire, and Grealish. Some may gasp at this comment, but I miss Becks being a part of that team and his stellar freekick skills. :) Anyways, Michael, CHEERS to a bright week to unfold ~~~ enjoy your Sunday, the game, and a fine week ahead.
