Looking at the holiday lights one sees a symbol of our Unity as humans. We are all individual Spirits comprising this wondrous Universe. None of us are separate. We all breathe the same air and share similar thoughts and wisdom from the One Consciousness, the Akashik records. There is No separation, it is just an illusion of this physical plane. When we hurt another, we hurt everything else including ourselves, in a ripple effect. Yet when we love others, it comes back to us, as in the Bible, Newton's Law of Physics, Buddah's karma, and the Kaballah. We are all unique and shine our own lights, as the string of lights on a tree, yet we all draw upon the One Source for Life and Eternity, making us all part of the Timeless One. This is truly the end of the old Earth year, and the beginning of the new one. Most all cultures over the world, since recorded history, have revered this time as the " Festival Of Lights " ( Hannukah, Christmas, Kwanza, pagans, etc.). This represents our human power to Light Up The Darkness, and in so doing to control our lives and destinies. We cannot control what the Universe gives us, but we CAN control how we deal with it, and that makes all the difference in the world ! This is a perfect time for meditation on our lives, and where we are going. Its up to You ! Its a new day, a new year, a new chance. Every birth contains the seeds of death.
