Actually I'm preparing for the days before the big day.....we have a get-together tomorrow night, and then another on Saturday night, and (hopefully) Sunday we can do our traditional family-like thing together, THEN Monday! The last time we spoke about her, she was battling a respiratory illness. I am truly happy to hear she made it through. What are you doing today? Just staying home over here. Good Morning, Denise! No worries about the cadence of your replies. I'm all nilly willy with that myself, depending on what's going on in my life. I know how hard it is to lose a pet. We've lost a few through the years, and it's very tough. Unfortunately, my oldest son is DEATHLY allergic to dogs, and both of my sons are allergic to cats, and even my husband developed an allergy to cats about 12 years ago, a little before our last kitty passed away. So NOW we have an eleven foot red-tailed boa named Honey. Yep, that happened. My husband and I just celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary, and our boys are 16 and 20. Normally, we'd have Thanksgiving with my brother's family, but this year we'll be having a quiet one at home with my mom. Actually, my dad passed on this date, three years ago, but rather than looking at it as a sombre day, I look at it as the day he went to Heaven. Will you be celebrating with anyone, or having a quiet one? However you spend the day, I hope it's a good one....with something tasty to eat, something good to watch on tv, fond memories filling your mind and love in your heart. ♥
