Thanks Nathan. Well to answer your question, I spent five years studying animation, and got a diploma in that. But I wanted to focus more on concept art, which has more to do with design rather than actual animation. If you're interested I left an example of my work on Rob's page a while back. It should still be there, perhaps on the second page of his comments. It's a character I was asked to design. The image contains both my hand drawn sketch as well as a photoshopped version. Photoshop plays a big part in concept art. I would like to get into a line of work that involves designing the look of tv shows, movies or games. Character design and set design. Heya Nathan, I'm good thanks. Yes I heard all about that, well isn't it just as well that it all turned out to be hype in the end. But yeah I hear you, the media will pounce on just about anything and sensationalize it, won't they. Things are going well in the homeland my friend. Summer is most definitely over now though, as the weather starts to gradually get worse. But I am not complaining because we got an unusually long summer in Ireland this year. I am currently continuing with the next phase of my studies, and they are going well. I notice Rob embedded a video where he gave you and I a mention. I have embedded a video response to Rob of my own, where I also gave you a mention toward the end. You'll find it in my playlist entitled "Response to Riffster" if you are interested.
